Another fatty star in this treat is ghee.

3 Health Benefits of Keto Mocha Fat Bombs
#1. Boost Gut Health
MCTs are antibacterial and help keep bad bacteria in your gut in check without harming helpful bacteria.
Ghee contains butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid key in gut health. Butyrate can help strengthen your stomach lining and reduce the risk of permeability that leads to Leaky Gut Syndrome and compromised immunity.
Butyrate from ghee can also help those suffering from Crohn’s Disease and other symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) such as diarrhea and constipation.
#2. Aid Fat Loss
MCTs don’t get stored as fat, instead, they can be quickly used for energy and boost your ketone levels to put you in fat-burning mode.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), found in ghee, can help reduce body weight and boost fat burning too. CLA has also been shown to lower cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and reduce inflammation in your body.
#3. Keep Bones Strong
Macadamia nuts are incredibly good for your bones. In 2010, researchers found that tree nuts are rich in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, and low in sodium. This helps protect against bone demineralization.
Vitamin K from ghee is directly involved in bone metabolism and helping maintain calcium in your bones.
The next time a recipe calls for a nut butter, make the switch to macadamia butter and see how much richer your food tastes. The blend of espresso and ghee in this recipe are also out of this world. You may never look at coffee and butter the same.Print
