With the launch of this new product, we wanted to brew up some creative and delicious ways to drink it — what better way than to start off with a micronutrient greens matcha smoothie?! Here’s a drink recipe to ensure you get your greens for the day!
Micronutrients, commonly referred to as “vitamins and minerals” are the nutrients your body needs only in small quantities for survival. This is opposed to macronutrients like fat, protein, and carbohydrates needed by our bodies for energy for proper body function and every day activities.
Many people, unfortunately, don’t get enough fruits and vegetables in their diet, and sometimes, those on the ketogenic diet choose the fruits and vegetables that are high in carbs. Remember: fruits and vegetables that have a sweet taste are simple carbs!
If your body doesn’t get the small quantities of micronutrients it needs, micronutrient deficiency disorders can arise and present you with many health problems. This is why the Perfect Keto Greens was created—so people can get the proper nutrition from the fruits and vegetables.
Unlike a multivitamin you take, the micronutrient greens powder doesn’t contain any synthetic forms of nutrients. In fact, each fruit and vegetable has been specifically picked and made into powder form to give you a combination of fruits and veggies (also paired with digestive and supportive enzymes for gut heath), so you get all of the nutrients you need from whole foods.
Make sure to check out our guide on when and how to use Perfect Keto Micro Greens for more ideas on how to incorporate the powder into your diet.
